You’re probably here because

Communication is costing you

Meetings run long, decisions stall, and the same misunderstandings keep surfacing. Your team talks past each other more than they talk to each other.

Culture needs a reset

Engagement scores are flat. People are checked out. You need something that actually shifts how the team relates to each other—not another survey.

The team can’t think together

Individual talent is there, but collaborative problem-solving is broken. Silos, competing priorities, and a lack of psychological safety are holding the team back.

An offsite or event is coming

You already know the usual agenda won’t move the needle. You want your team to leave with something real—not just another slide deck.

You took a class yourself

And you want to bring the experience to your team. This is one of our most common paths to a corporate engagement—and it works because you already know the impact.

80% of participants tell us they were skeptical beforehand. 95% say they’d do it again.

The methodology

The Neural Improv Difference

Developed during Adam’s recovery from a traumatic brain injury and refined over 25 years with 15,000+ professionals, Neural Improv is a proprietary system that rewires how teams listen, adapt, and create together. It’s not comedy training—it’s neuroscience-backed experiential learning.

01

Listen

Presence & attention

Exercises that train active listening at a neurological level. Teams stop waiting to talk and start hearing each other.

02

Adapt

Cognitive agility

Real-time pivoting under pressure. The neural pathways for flexibility get stronger with every exercise.

03

Create

Collaborative innovation

Building on each other’s ideas instead of competing. The “yes, and” reflex that drives divergent thinking up 37%.

What teams practice

The skills L&D programs talk about but rarely build

Through proven improv techniques, teams learn to think quicker on their feet, get out of their own way, and work better together. Every program is personalized to your team’s current needs—and the results are sustainable.

Active listening

Teams that listen before reacting make better decisions, faster. Improv trains the reflex.

Adaptability under pressure

Practice pivoting in real time. The muscle that separates good teams from great ones.

Psychological safety

Play creates an environment where people take risks, share ideas, and fail safely. That transfers directly to the workplace.

Cross-functional collaboration

When people from different departments play together, silos break down. No slide deck achieves that.

What a session actually looks like

Adam leading a corporate training session
First 15 minutes

Low-stakes warm-ups

Simple games designed for all comfort levels. No stage, no audience, no one watching. Your quietest team member will be participating within 5 minutes.

Middle 40 minutes

Collaborative exercises

Structured activities that mirror real workplace dynamics: making decisions with incomplete information, building on someone else’s idea, communicating under time pressure. It feels like play. It trains real skills.

Final 15 minutes

Debrief and connect

Adam connects the exercises to your team’s actual challenges. People leave with language and awareness they’ll use in their next meeting, not just a good memory.

The research

Why improv, specifically?

Traditional team building gives your team a shared memory. Applied improv gives them shared skills. The exercises are designed to build specific neural pathways for listening, adapting, and collaborating. That’s why the results last longer than the afternoon.

Psychological safety is the #1 predictor of high-performing teams

Common questions before booking

How many people can participate?

Sessions work best with 8–50 people. Smaller groups (8–15) allow deeper skill-building. Larger groups (30–50) focus on energy and connection. For 50+ participants, we use breakout formats. Adam will recommend the right structure for your group size.

What do we need to provide?

A room large enough for people to stand and move freely. Chairs in a circle or cleared to the edges. No AV, no projector, no slide deck. Just space and people. Adam brings everything else.

How far in advance should we book?

2–4 weeks is typical. For conferences and large events, 6–8 weeks is ideal. Rush requests (under 2 weeks) can sometimes be accommodated depending on schedule.

What’s the investment?

Engagements start at $3,500 for a workshop. Half-day and full-day programs, multi-session series, and keynotes are custom-quoted based on scope. Nonprofit and education rates available. All pricing includes a discovery call and custom program design.

Where are you based?

San Diego, California. Available throughout Southern California at no additional cost. For travel engagements anywhere in the U.S., a flat travel fee is added.

What if my team is skeptical?

Most participants are. The exercises are designed for all comfort levels, introverts and skeptics included. No one is put on stage. No one is forced to be funny. Within the first 10 minutes, even the most reluctant participants are engaged.
